Just reading thru my e'mail from mercury mail on internet topics and came across something potentially alarming for KM hopes? Some company called superfast announced software for $60 that will boost hard disk drive I/O performance up to 496%! Can see their web site at www.accelerationsw.com and the story at www.merc/com/stories/cgi/story.cgi?id=557970-be6 Sorry, I don't know how to hypertext link yet. Any easy to follow directions for that? Not sure if this is a big deal or not, just ran across it and posted the URL's so others more technically aware can help us out. Is this a flash in the pan, or is it going to make AXC's 30-40% improvement obsolete before it ever gets off the ground? Hmmm.
