Jury, after all the studies and graphs and and, I ended up with a black box approach (call it Tarzan, monkey-business, whatever). I dont think I checked anybody's EPS for months by now. You are right. OTH my AOL calls are (still) up 3% today. Go figure it out.
There's a fundamental, barebone classification you can make on any human endevour, which is based on the following two questions
a) are you competent / incompetent?
b) do you know why you are competent/incompetent?
You have for instance inconscious incompetents. All over the place. Basically quite a happy bunch (g). Then you have competent people, who also know why they're competent (that's the alpha-dog type of people).
I guess I'm still an inconscious competent. I know Im doing OK - well, the 3yr average of 50% yly says I am competent -. But dont ask me why... If anything, it is the discipline. But could be the same type of discipline, that pagans need every full moon to sacrifice again and again their virgins to the great unknown etc.
