Sunny,
We have from time to time discussed SEBL and JDSU. I for one see enough Simian traits to satisfy my own hurdles. Over the last 6 weeks I have invested in both of them. I believe that Mike Buckley has presented persuasive information that would qualify SEBL if it weren't for the unknown impacts when the large ERP vendors present their customer relationship offerings. If we were considering only current competitors SEBL would be there today. In any case I believe that the tornado is underway in this market. SEBL is the clear favorite.

As to JDSU in both passive and active laser components, I believe it also would be a gorilla if we only considered today's competitors. Perhaps that should be the qualifying criteria. It's chart is very much like that of CSCO. It's growth going forward appears to be in excess of 60%. The problem I have declaring that it qualifies is a personal lack of understanding about the barriers to entry. Does anyone have a good understanding about such barriers?

In any case I have certainly benefited by the discussion of these two young gorilla like companies. I would certainly support moving them to the G&K group.

Best Regards,
Tom
