M,
The sun actually shined here today and we hit 51 degrees. I could not believe our good fortune. I went for a walk in the woods and found a nice sunny spot to sit and ponder life!

But......that article? Yes I read it and yes I felt sad after reading it....depressing. I have lived in a few of those "gap" countries as an expatriate and I understand life out there. I have lived in a place where there was no law and order, but you didn’t need it then. People were friendly and honest on the whole.

After a while that changed and there was a need for law and order and it wasn’t there. I have had personal losses because of "bad elements" within some of these "gap" countries, but some really nice people have also befriended me there.

So yes I can relate to that article and say yes that is the way it is, but I feel sad for the people. Some of them are my friends that are caught in the middle of some of these “gap” countries.

Sad times, but, that is a long story.

History is being written now though eh?

Living here in the USA (Babaloyn) one can lose touch with the outside world.

Lots to think about.

John
