Congratulations on making that list. How come you don't use your real name? It would help personalize this whole blogging thing a lot. Of course your goal might not be publicity and dollar signs as perhaps Ben Jones is attempting to cash in on. I wonder why Mish's blog wasn't on that list?

As Ben Jones grew up in TX and saw a literal RE depression first hand it was a little easier for him to be a believer. Trying to be a believer and having to tell the same thing in CA or the east coast to folks is very difficult especially when you've been actively involved yourself for a whole cycle. No one believed me and long time folks in the RE biz who should know better were and still are almost oblivious to what is going on in real time. Just witness the few of my fellow long time RE investors that come to this message board from time to time.

The magnitude of this bust along the coasts should at least rival what happened in the oil patch bust in TX during the 1985-92 period. It will be much worse than what happened in CA in the early to mid 90's.
