Sam,
I dont worry about deficits but from what i have read this morning there might be some sort of deal in place for stim package acceptable to both sides. A Bush step to the left would be viewed as positive even for the deficit fearers among us. A war president stepping to the middle is not uncommon. FDR did exactly that during WW2. It also helps the dems in the coming election because they will not be seen as obstructionsist or anti patriotic. Add no more rate cuts as a vote of confidence by the fed along with better numbers on the economy today...... mike
