There was a blurb from the WSJ about that possibility - the rumor was started on the Motley Fool thread on AOL. Someone was speculating that AOL would buy out XCIT - because the purchase price would be around the $350 million raised and Steve Case resigned from the XCIT board (conflicting interest if he was on the board).
