CMVT has been a very interesting company to follow over the past 2-3 years. Although its trading pattern has changed somewhat in the last quarter, CMVT could always be relied on to make a several run ups before breaking a new high. It's been a relatively easy stock to time and actively range trade.

Late last year, there were some large sell offs. During November, the Chairman sold 265M shs out of direct holdings of 430M shs. Then in December, he sold another 60M shares reducing his holdings in less than 2 months from 430M to 165M shs. In Sept, he also sold nearly another 50M shs. Two other insiders sold 12M shs during the Sep-Nov period.

During November, another holder, Formosa Limited of Douglas Isle of Man did 8 separate SEC filing to sell a total of 234M shs.

None of this activity followed or preceded any negative news but the stock price did tank for about 30 days prior to another one of CMVT's sharp rises.

With good timing, you can make good money on this stock and as you mentioned, its earnings are improving, its cash position is impressive and the niche market it serves should be ever improving.

I'm currently expecting another bump to about 26.5 to 27 before it dips again.

Good luck.
