Bush... former coke head and drunk. Well, maybe, but successful businessman? I wish I was so fortunate.

Pretzels? What, couldn't come up with anything better?

Bush... questionable businessman. "Bush Exploration" rescued by Spectrum 7 (Bush Sr. supporters.) OOPS... they almost went bankrupt until Harken Energy bailed them, putting millions in George's pocket along with stock. So what if Harken was run by right-wing Republican nuts. Business is business. I'm sure they had no ulterior motives.

In 1983, Harken beat out Amoco for off-shore drilling rights in Bahrain, even though they had no off-shore oil drilling experience. Oh yeah, daddy was president.

And what business foresight did he have for unloading his shares in Harken just before they plummeted 25% overnight? Insider trading? The SEC thought there was some hanky-panky otherwise I don't think they would have instigated an investigation into Harken and its board of directors. Was Dubya on the board?

So, he made close to a million dollars by being a Bush. Don't tell me it was because of his business acumen.

If you read the whole article you'll find that Gore is no better. Politicians crawl to the top. Some end up with more slime than others.

Call me liberal but questions have always been raised about the 'shrubs' integrity and they shouldn't be ignored. Bush, a successful businessman? Ha, I say. I should be so successful.

P.S. To even things out I'll look up dirt on Daschle.
