Level II traders seem to be focused primarily with the function of market makers and the technicalities of orders, and trade for eighths and quarters. That's why most of them don't have a use for charts and I agree with them. I thought you must be one from your comments about not watching a stock for more than 5 minutes.

I think most people who use charts and practice technical trading are after at least a dollar or more, and the articles on triangles, etc. is more geared to them, although, in principle, knowing some technical trading techniques might be of use, even for Level II players.
