John, in answer to your question GENE's business strategy is meant to be low-risk with projects being supported with long term ventures. Hence, the agreements with Schering Plough, Astra AB, and Merck. This strategy is to utilize the finances of the big boys to help share funding R&D for genomic research in areas that should be beneficial for those companies to develop new drugs. GENE is working on Pathogen Gene Discovery, Human Gene Discovery, as well Government funded research. GENE utilizes a proprietary batch process for very high throughput gene processing (DNA sequencing). This process is termed multiplex sequencing and is being developed for a fully automated multiplex sequencer to further increase the speed and reduce the costs associated with sequencing efforts. This system was developed by researchers at Harvard University and is the subject of two issued U.S. patents and GENE is the exclusive worldwide licensee for all commercial uses of multiplex technology.

1) Do you know anything about a company called Arris Pharmaceuticals (ARRS)?
2) Any thoughts for possibly making an investment in ARRS? I intend to do a little digging and look into agreements and financials over the weekend to help with a decision for possibly Monday.
