The market maker shell game.

Check out the spread and size of last trade.

3/8 spread; 9 1/4 at 9 5/8! 200 shares traded at 9 1/4 after the stock OPENED at 10 1/8 on 60,000+ share volume. 200 shares brought it back down to 9 1/4! These are the significant numbers; where it opened and where the predominant number of shares are trading; You are looking at the 9 1/4 price and are justifiably thinking 'why isn't this higher?'.

Now you know.

Sellers are simply getting killed by the market makers. And we can think of a more appropriate term for 'killed'. (again, in our opinion)
