Mike, the first deal between GTIS and
MPRS waS called off because of GTIS accounting
practices. It get's rather complicated at
this point, but GTIS changed the way they
report revenue.
As far as what MPRS is worth now, having
BROD go for 20 something is like having a
big black cloud over the industry. What
are these companys really worth??. BROD had
cash,great books,products, but chose to bail
after all those years in business.
I'm glad you made it to Usenet, i've used
it for years for good info on when to buy,
short or trade stocks. I agree Amy is getting
close to getting spanked, i like her spunk though,
it tells me the morale is good at the other studios,
the games are getting finished, and they are standing
up for their company.
AoJ was a big deal, it's been eagerly awaited for
years. It's hard for gamers to hear the truth, but if
the developers think it sucked, best to cut your losses,
instead of pouring more $ into it. I was waiting to
play it myself, the hype on Usenet alone was enough
to make me buy it.:-)
MPRS will be merged or bought. If they start selling
games though, Bail!!!!. I watched SEVL bleed a slow death,
selling games,trying to merge with Pulse, then quitting the
games business entirely and becoming an internet developer.
I owned SEVL at one time, but sold it because it was dead
money, Sure enough, the stock ran from 1 7/8 to 12 in a
couple of days, LOL.
