I agree with everything you said. To go further with Gotfried's ideas of AMAT's quality and the markets awareness of AMAT, I will make the following comment. For the first time in its history, AMAT deserves to be the number one technology investment. PCs are slowing (INTC, DELL), software penetration is slowing (ORCL), a former leader is a lawbreaker (MSFT), networking has "bubbled" out (CSCO, SUNW, EMC), old line "technology" companies are moving to marketing and support services (IBM, HP). The market understands that it is Moore's law and not software and box making which is responsible for the technology roadmap and is our future hope.
