I am finding it way-too-hard to guage what is going to happen from EOD data/information. I have to watch the market at the opening and close and then put in my order. 1 day offset can costs about 3 - 5 % movement in NDX close to close and we are getting 4 - 10% intra-day swings. Unless you are watching the market like a hawk you will miss things. I do not want to be an intra-day trader but I think I may slowly be turning into one. I think all this is due to the rotations that are going on at the moment from defensives into aggressive stocks.
I try to capture 2 - 3 day movements (or more), trust me it is just not working at the moment - there is no trend. Unless we are at NDX 2125 or NDX 2500 I do nothing as Mr G showed us that is just 1 days short-covering at the moment.
