The OSX is the Oil Service Sector Index, i.e. oil-drillers and service companies. You could get a daily a chart at fast.quote.com , by entering $osx.x. HAL and SLB are the "INTC and MSFT" of the sector, so you could look at those charts, as well. From my view of the charts, the sector is at a crucial point, perhaps about to break the downtrend. I also believe this marks the top for the XAL (airline index). Airlines and Oils are sometimes negatively correlated due to the effect of the price of oil on airlines's costs. Regards, Tom
