I listened to the conference call and was perplexed why a company with an eight year operating history would not have the necessary controls in place (contract language shifting risk of client-caused delay onto the responsible party). PRTG placed all the blame on its new customers who were simply not ready to proceed in the time frame they had anticipated. The fact that so many clients at once had such delays suggests that PRTG itself is likely at blame for missed execution and failure to anticipate/remediate. Could the recent torrid pace of acquisitions have distracted management? How long will it take to regain the Street's confidence?
