Cymer doesn't lie and those analysts just don't know! Thank you flickerful for highlighting Cymer's short postion of 3,334,693. Wall street is foward looking market so shorts show up(at least good ones do) when companies warn about earning for the next couple of quarters. This is because the stock won't have much upside till 3 months later when those earnings (which were warned about) are released.
