finally! A post that makes sense!!! this thread has degenerated into a cacophony of hysterical day-traders. The fact is QCOM is down already 30% from its high: it has ALREADY corrected. Anyone dumping at this level hoping to buy much lower is likely making a mistake. As for the nasdaq index and outrageous predictions of 40% drop, well it could happen but if you believe in statistics it is very very unlikely. Can anyone recall the last time THAT happened? don't know if we even had a 40% drop in 1987! Certainly not during the last 4 years... Something really bad would have to happen to our dear world! These boards are used for two purposes: information and manipulation. This thread long ago ceased to be informative. But attempts at manipulation are rampant... I read them to gauge investor sentiment: the last time they were so negative was just before the super rises in November and December of last year (remember y2k scare?), and of course, September 1998. In any case, they always get negative after a 10% drop. Just human nature I guess, but unfortunately, predators (not angels) come out during those times (shame on you) with outlandish predictions. Follow them if you wish, but remember: you'll only have a blank internet screens to blame... T
