Greenspan, but I am of the opinion that a rise in interest rates at this juncture is a normal thing (a coincident indicator if you like). After all with the economy going well there is increased demand for capital (for inventory build up and for investments) and if demand goes up so goes the price for the comodity - this time the comodity is capital. It only becomes critical for the stock market if "they" raise interest rates to kill an overblown demand and we are no place close to such a situation with inflation very low and interest rates historically seen still very low. So I would not worry too much about this healthy reaction. Afterall after such a long advance a reaction was due. yours Fred
