Tolerance of dissent and criticism is a requirement for an open, democratic society. Stifling dissent and criticism is the "short road" to a fascist society in which only cheerleading for the government is accepted. The Founding Fathers are most certainly rolling in their graves at the current attempts to stifle the basic American liberties, such as free speech. THC
