News today about funding and Nasdaq listing....... biz.yahoo.com ''As we reported earlier,'' said Vincent F. Simmon, Ph.D., President and Chief Executive Officer, ''our discussions regarding the initial corporate partnering opportunity are in advanced stages and we hope to announce a completed agreement by the end of 1998. We are hopeful that funding from this partnership would allow us to maintain the current listing of the Company's common stock on Nasdaq.'' Dr. Simmon added, ''With a corporate alliance in place, our ability to secure funding from additional sources is likely to improve, including investments from several qualified private investors, with whom discussions are underway.''
