Pal, The entire upgrade frenzy on AOL seems to me a perfect example of broker-driven research, as opposed to research independent of the sales process. AOL is easy to sell to individual investors and institutions, brand-name internet stock, etc. The "research" helps them make the sale. The reasons given for these recommendations are weak at best, but obviously no one's paying much attention to AOL fundamentals. Best, Steve
