No Ted, BEFORE. The public was still in support of the Iraq war well after the newspapers started turning on Bush. That was part of the reason why they supported John F. Kerry for president, even though the majority still voted for Bush in 2004.


No, no, no. Many papers did not support Kerry. Kerry got some big names but the breakdown in the end favored Bush. I remember because I was sorely disappointed. The newspapers did not shift until Americans started to turn on the war. And that makes sense..........if you want to sell papers esp. in this day of the WWW, you don't want to piss off your constituency.
