<I've got my flak jacket on.> To the contrary. I believe that this delay makes Intel process develop seem more human. Rumors to the contrary it is not possible to dictate the future of something as aggressively scheduled as semiconductor process development. Far from a straight or exponential technology development really proceeds with spurts forward and backwards. Intel still is the center of world class semiconductor process technology (possibly with shared with IBM). They just revealed it is possible for the even the best to have delays.
