On Netiquette, SI Ignore, & SI Moderated Boards
Message 18987139
In SI's heyday of the late '90s, the things that seemed to make SI rock were the relative newness of message boards, a booming market, and an abundance of message-posters who were interesting, humorous, and civil writers. Is it realistic to expect that these things will return? The newness aspect can't be resurrected, a booming market isn't likely, and the return of the quality writers who've left SI or significantly reduced their postings is doubtful. And SI thrived despite there being no Ignore feature, Moderated boards, or Next 10 Messages feature, and having only the Classic format. Justin C. # 17986, Welcome to Silicon Investor!
