Interesting idea. Has this approach become standard for suitably sited nuke installations? Has it ever been tried in a hydroelectric facility? I assume they are still building these things in other parts of the world.

I think [dams] are a lot prettier than wind turbines.

But are they as attractive or as useful as wetlands?
