regarding norton antivirus updates... used to be one could look for new virus definitions every 30 days or so. even symantec has been recommending that as a good time frame to check for updates. i like to check more frequently. much more frequently. <g3> and what do i find? that norton is providing the new definitions every 3-5 days. yep. my last three updates had new definitions dated 10/4, 10/8 and just now i downloaded 10/11. so if you're into obsessing about keeping your antivirus defenses current, you now have a willing vendor. :) mark
