The thing is, they have expended a LOT of time and money to make people think that there aren't, and that the other guys are that way. In the meantime, the Republican party has not. since you've been banned on the other thread, i'll post my reply here. it's the fault of the liberal media, not conservatives. true conservatives can't really be racists. there was a guy on Groundzero's thread that i argued with years ago about his racism. i stopped posting on GZ's thread because of that guy. many of his stances were conservative, but i felt it was mainly a cover for his racism. true conservatives believe in freedom. freedom is antithetical to racism. and freedom naturally fits in well with free markets. i believe (actually i 'know') that a true conservative can't be a racist. his principles would prevent him from being so. however, there are some fake conservatives that are indeed racists. the liberal media immediately picks up on them and publicises it. that's how the conservatives get the bad rap. the msm labels them racists and there's very little conservative media to counter it.
