i-node re: "there is little chance of Apple being involved in that process at all for the foreseeable future"

In reference to my question:

Q: "What could Apple do to automate the processing of health care claims?"
A: "I don't know ... I can imagine quite a bit." - Han Solo

PBS | Hospitals turning to data brokers for patient information

Automating the processing of health care claims is going to happen. The obvious questions are:

How soon?
Who will be the first mover?
Who (singular? plural?) will provide the long-term solution(s)?

Given Apple's incipient (and as-yet not fully revealed) forays into Health Care monitoring, this likelihood is either an opportunity or, depending on what safeguards are put into place, a development to guard diligently against.
