From an IMNX investor standpoint I'm not real happy with the deal, either. But all of us are on-lookers outside the walls of both corporations. They have their reasons, eh? I don't have many regrets as IMNX has been a VERY profitable ride from its lows, and the traders "seasoning" allowed by its volatility in recent weeks has certainly been icing on the cake.

So what to do now? Well, obviously I'm keeping all my IMNX shares. I'd opened a nibble of a position in AMGN at $56.19 on Friday. But it was only a nibble as I expect Wall Streets myopic nature will be to yank AMGN to the downside by some percentage over the intermediate term (indeed in pre-market I see it's down over $3 already...yup...it's definitely going to experience a stupid, myopic and short-term reaction). After the yank down I'll be backing up the truck and loading up. To my view longer term (2 years), given all we know about IMNX's product efficacies, earnings potential, etc., combined with AMGN's products and sheer name recognition....well....it's about as close to a slam dunk as slam dunk can be....

Now let's see how the market reacts to all of this....
