I agreed with Rev. wright when he talked about the way different races learn things. He explained this during his NAACP speech. He also made me think and understand why we do not say anything about the New England accent but we take note of a black person's accent.

But I lost all appreciation for him when on Monday he said that he had no hope that things will change with a President Obama because, as he put it (and I paraphrase), A President Obama will come to represent the past oppressions of the US Govt. And then he went on to warn him that he would come after President Obama. Wright did not have any Hope. And that is when I thought that he needs to be thrown overboard.

For those who say why it took Obama this long, I would say that we just need to look at Iraq to understand the consequences of hasty decisions.
