An anonymous director reports USA Video Interactive will lead a session at the Streaming Media West 2001 Conference and Exhibition being held this week in Long Beach, Calif., and will launch Zmail, the first of its products based on its StreamHQ technology. USVO also is sponsoring an exhibit at the show to showcase its Zmail product and its StreamHQ technology, and will be joined in its booth by representatives from Exodus Communications and eBizExec. Matthew Kinnaman, USVO vice-president of strategic innovation, will lead a panel entitled "Return on Investment-Justifying Spending on Corporate Streaming Applications" that will discuss strategies for determining and demonstrating the value of media streaming in corporate settings. Other executives participating on the panel are Rikel Getly of Exodus Communications, Jim Lewandowski of Yahoo!, Michael Moskowitz of Globix, Bill Thornton of Reliacast and Michael Quinn of Akamai. Zmail is the first product to use USVO's core technology. StreamHQ, a powerful and uniquely functional Internet streaming rich media delivery architecture designed by USVO. The Zmail launch features a video produced by the Seattle Seahawks for their fans and a Web page custom designed by USVO to display the video and to link to Seahawks information and merchandise.
