Claudette was more wind and high tides for us then anything else. I'm so glad I sold our property last year in Galveston. It's now beach front property! The tidal surges erroded away some of the dunes as well as beach front homes and streets. Many people who's houses were spared might now loose them because of the law which says there must be so many feet in front of your property that's vegetation. What's #9? A new thread?
