I did overlook giuliani. Dont get me wrong. I love the guy and have a special place in my heart for him being a new yorker at Ground zero on 9/11. However he is a strong social liberal whereas Gentleman Joe, is far more conservative being a practicing orthodox Jew. Yes he is pro choice but he is also personally strongly anti-abortion and pro family; and given the Christian rights new found love of Jews and Israel, he would be acceptable even if he ultimately perished when Jesus returns. At that point, who was Veep wouldnt matter much i suspect. But McCain/Giuliani and a pledge to keep Joe at DOD might be a stronger alternative.
I think Condi has too much baggage and its adding up now with all this talk on torture and cia prisons in Eastern Europe. There would have to be a clear victory in iraq with a great outcome for democracy in the region for Condi to get the nomination. I dont like candidates who have never have previously run for office. IT is a requirement for me and i would have to vote for Hillary in any Hillary/Condi race.
