OT warning. changed outlook/attitude for me. i used to believe that this would be essentially over in 3-6 months -- with an ongoing small and controllable amount of new infections. that caused me to get antsy when the stock market rose because i did not want to be late. no more. IMO, this will be here for along time, at a nasty level and the economy is in deep trouble. hope i am wrong, but with the re-openings and the especially the large number of people who do not take it seriously, who are demanding their right to be unsafe, i am not optimistic. (sorry paul, if this is too OT, so i will mention a few stocks).
i am not as cash rich as spekulatius, but am comfortable with 25% cash, 25% utilities, and the rest in seemly safe companies -- industrial reits, certain office reits, medical office reits, and a few others. STAG, LXP, DOC, HTA, HR, BDN, HIW, CUZ, OFC, GD, NEE, ES, PPL, XEL, FE, AQN...
