Off the topic of course but once I had a home where the possums would get up under the house. So I got those safe cages and put leftover food from that night's restaurant in and we would get a possum.. Three incidences I should like to describe.

The night we got a cat. The menu was fish so when the cat was released she went right over to the swimming pool and drank and drank. That was funny.

The other times we carted the possums about four miles away and released them into a wooded estate.

Every night we had a possum. We were trying to determine whether to paint them with something as they kept coming back.
Once I thought I saw little possums under the belly of one but dismissed it until one night I watching TV I was enlightened that possums marsupials and have baby possums under their belly as do kangaroos. We learned the possums DID come back and that those were babies she had under her belly.

Well the best lesson was the night trapped a raccoon..
He was the one that taught us that the back of the cage opened to let animals out and one did not have to hold open the front folding door and take a stick and poke so that the animal would move out requiring two persons.. (:)

Live and learn...
