In fact I've gotten 3 PM's telling me to 'cool my heels'.
Lately, there has been some pretty good discussion. I too, like what JimP has to say. I actually like what he says better than the posts that he posts from the likes of Peter 'wrong way' Schiff and some other permabears.
If you've noticed- Slider hasn't hammered anyone, or made this a one-way discussion. Quite the opposite. There really has been some damn good give and take here. And since I have been asked not to use 'some' words and to tone it down- I will.
I dont mean to attack anyone personally and I wasn't attacking jimp- I was attacking Peter Schiff.
Tiffany, about your comments-
On the 'recommendations'- first, there are a few posters here with probably 20 screen names. In fact, one infrequent poster- when he does post, gets like 10 recommendations within 5 minutes of posting, even at odd hours of the night- when no one is on the thread. Add that in with how many readers there are that read this thread to 'hate Slider' and of course you're going to get lots of 'recommendations' to any anti-slider posts.
What ever floats their boat.
You do have to give Slider credit for two things.
1. A no ban thread.
2. He allows the reco's and doesn't turn that off.
And thats a lot more than many other threads on Si do.
You know you'd get banned in a second on most other threads.
I presume you are here because this thread has once again risen to the top of SI's 'HOT LIST' even while Slider has only posted about 2 times in 2 weeks. There are some people who really get wrapped up in all this popularity, or guru status shit. Personally, if you step back and honestly look at what Slider does and says- could anyone really be more of an 'anti-Guru'?
I mean if the guy wanted book markes, or popularity- he sure as hell wouldn't do 97% of the things he does, or says. The last thing he does is pander to popularity- unlike many others here on Si.
Tiffany- I think you've got some want-to-be insecurity issues, or maybe you are bearjones, hubris, or one of the other nipple-sucking, cry babbies who come on here and continually get exposed for the pompous windbags you are.
