I think it's a reasonable strategy based on a general tech recovery either this year or next. I have done nothing but scalp for the last couple of years, but have placed some longer term bets on telecom equipment issues. It's a contrarian bet, I did not like these 'playing with matches' stocks as I have termed them when they were in the hundreds, but think you can make some decent percentage returns at these level.
