Nobody is paying any attention to it as an election affecting issue. I simply remarked that your over-simplification of the issue was incorrect. I didn't mean innocent until proven guilty or anything of that nature either. I meant a crime can be committed an exists, whether cherged or not. If someone steals a painting from the museum, you have a felony or indictable offense, but no charge unless you complete an investigation and charge a person or secure an indictment. Incidents of this immediate discussion would be referred for Grand Jury presentation before charging.
