it is naive to think that etrade's problems will end when they upgrade their server. their problems are more basic than that. they have developed flawed software that they are constantly tweaking, and with each bug they fix they create two new ones. they have no idea how to write solid software and even less how to run correctness tests. if they were serious they would fire all their middle and upper software development and management people and call in expert help. fido
