I think youve hit the problem on the nose.It happened in the 30's.Every time the market dives investor see bottom, jump in and drown. The partners of Goldman Sachs were sued back then for frittering away their clients monies. That is only natural.Where would all the brokerage and investment firms, and ,yes where would SI be if everybody decided to sit this market out for a year or two?.THey have to try to lure investors in and hope for the best, other wise there goes their bonuses and profits.
For me the real bottom will arrive only when most everybody has blown everything on false bottoms. Then it will be years before any significant growth returns.
