I've not only not proved it, I've not asserted it. I don't KNOW what that device is, and would like to. If it's a flak jacket under the suit jacket, it sure isn't a flak jacket under that tee shirt. My expertise on that is that I have eyeballs. What I think is very, very interesting is how many RWers don't care if such a thing happened or not. He did much better in last night's debate than he did in either of the others -- won it, in fact, in terms of voter-appeal -- and, as I've said, I'm (intuitively) sure he got no coaching last night. As for the voice delay -- it wasn't George Bush's voice. Somebody else was reading the lines he then spoke. But if it was a person reading to him, that's not much different than a teleprompter, and would be justified if he's dyslexic, imo. But that's very different from a debate situation. The WH did comment on protective measures. They said he was not wearking a flak jacket.
