Daylight saving time and Windows ...

Those who need to adjust their computer's clock because Daylight Saving time ended this weekend can save themselves a bit of work next spring if they tell Windows to do this automatically next time.

Click Start / Settings / Control Panel / Date-Time. Click TimeZone tab and check the box marked "Automatically adjust clock ..."

This is only a couple of clicks beyond adjusting the time. Windows will display a notice when your computer clock gets adjusted.

Cheers, PW.

P.S. While you're at it, click Control Panel / Regional Settings, Date tab and select four digit years. This will save you some grief on January 1st as we say goodbye to 99.
