<What is qualification, and what steps come after that?> "Qualification" could mean either of two things. It could mean the time when first samples are sent to validation partners. Or it could mean the time when final production silicon gets to the customers waiting in line, and they start their own qualification tests. The first definition means product isn't going to hit the market until several months later. The second definition means product will hit the market in about a month, barring any showstopping bugs which could crop up, especially in an 8-way chipset. Tenchusatsu
