Does anybody know anything about the Joint Area of Co-operation, which straddles the Falklands/Argentinian boundary ? Have any companies got bids in for this area ?, if so, when is exploration due to commence ? Also, the present drilling programme in the North Falklands Basin : what's the plan once the five wells have been completed ?, (well, six now that Shell are doing the extra well). What about acreage to the South of the Islands ?, do the Falkland Islands Government plan on selling off any of this acreage for exploration ?
