There is not much publically known about the P7. The rumour on the
street is that the planned HP/INTC VLIW chip has long-gone, and
INTC is just planning on bumping up the number of functional units
in the P6 design, and up-clocking it again.

P.S. The P6 is hardly lackluster, except on legacy 16-bit code.
On Windows NT it is a flyer.
