Bobby:
Historically, the ratio between the cost of an ou. of silver and the cost of an ou. of au. narrows in advance of a more general upward move by the entire industry. You are on target when you speculate silver may move in advance of au.; indeed, the ratio has been narrowing over the past several weeks. We may be in the first leg of the precious metals bull move.

Technically, Hecla looks very attractive; I cannot find an indicator or parameter that does not show it is very oversold or has begun a moving average (MACD) bullish trend, especially on a monthly or weekly- time frame.

As with the initial bull-market advance in financials, Nov.'82-Jun.'83, most were caught unaware, or refused to believe it was durable. So it is today, as many will be caught unaware or refuse to accept the metals bull-market we see beginning now.

I will continue to accumulate Hecla on weakness, although that condition may not persist too much longer.

Yours, T.V.H.
