International telecommunications analyst starts coverage of Broadcom with a strong sell warning... yes, I shorted it today after having them annoy Qualcomm and me for years.

But they were kind enough to provide use of their patents [for Qualcomm] as part of the settlement.

They do supply a lot of chips and things, which I buy hidden away inside various devices, so they must be doing something right.
