DaVinci Resolve 19

Features include various edit types (overwrite, insert, ripple overwrite, replace, fit to fill, append at end etc.) and styles “from drag-and-drop to the timeline, to three-point precision editing driven by customizable keyboard shortcuts”, multicam/multisource playback in a gridded window, finishing tools, VFX support and far more.
Resolve also integrates Fairlight audio tools for recording, editing, mixing, sweetening, finishing and mastering, including 3D audio support, and it includes multi-user collaboration features with individual logins, media management and support for specialized hardware control panels.
In sync with trends at Apple and elsewhere, Resolve has adopted AI features.
The DaVinci Neural Engine uses state of the art deep neural networks and machine learning, along with artificial intelligence to power features such as facial recognition, object detection, smart reframing, speed warp retiming, super scale up-scaling, auto color and color matching and more!
Resolve 19, the latest version, was just released following a beta-test period (and requires changes to existing project files).
DaVinci Resolve 19 introduces powerful new DaVinci Neural Engine AI tools and over 100 feature upgrades! Editors can work directly with transcribed audio to find speakers and edit timeline clips. Colorists can produce rich film like tones with the ColorSlice six vector palette and produce cinematic images using the new film look creator effect which emulates photometric film processes. In Fairlight, the IntelliTrack AI can be used to track motion and automatically pan audio. VFX artists in Fusion have an expanded set of USD tools plus a new multipoly rotoscoping tool. The cut page has new broadcast replay tools for live multi camera broadcast editing, playout and replay with speed control.
DaVinci Resolve 19 is available as a free installer download for macOS 12 and later, Linux, and Windows in return for registering name, address, phone and email information, while DaVinci Resolve Studio is priced at $295.
The free version of DaVinci Resolve is packed with more features than most paid software applications! You can use it to edit and finish up to 60 fps in resolutions as high as Ultra HD 3840 x 2160. You get extensive color grading tools including luma, HSL and 3D keyers, color warper and HDR tools, video collage, elastic wave audio retiming and more. Plus it now also enables collaboration so multiple people can work on the same project, all at the same time! Once you’ve learned how to use DaVinci Resolve and gain more experience, you can move up to DaVinci Resolve Studio.
